The Olympic Port of Barcelona is located in front of the former Olympic Village, between the beaches of La Barceloneta and Nova Icaria.
The port wa realized after the Olympic Games in 1992. The Sailing Competitions during the Games took place exactly in this area.
It was built following the design of some of the most important architects of this Century: Oriol Bohigas, Josep Martorell, David Mackay and Albert Puig Domènech.

Torre Mapfre and Hotel Arts
Mapfre Tower and Hotel Arts are the two tallest buildings in the city, the two skyscrapers crowning the Olympic Port of Barcelona.
They are often called the twin towers of Barcelona, because they have exactly the same height and are placed opposite to each other.
For its spectacular height of 154 meteres, the towers are not only the highest in the city but also the seventh tallest skyscrapers all over Spain.
Certainly are not going unnoticed, you’ll see them from everywhere in Barcelona. Both are gigantic buildings rising no more and no less than 154 meters high.
The Golden Fish & the Casino of Barcelona
The Golden Fish by Frank Gehry
Between the two towers of the Port Olimpic, Mapfre Tower and Hotel Arts, you will see the spectacular Peix d' Or (Golden Fish), a huge golden statue known by the locals with the name of the Dorada.
This impressive sculpture was realized by the artist Frank O’ Gehry and depending on the time and the weather it reflects different the light in a different way. It measures 35 x 54 meters and is entirely made of stainless steel.
The artist is also the author of other masterpieces in Spain, for example the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
Gran Casino Barcelona
The Gran Casino of Barcelona is located at the bottom of the Tower Hotel Arts.
Inside the Casino you will find multiple services including bars, restaurants and of course all kinds of slot machines, gaming tables, French roulette, Black Jack, Poker and much more.
It has three different bars where you can have a drink while enjoying the game, the Slot Bar, The Mystery Bar and the Black Jack Bar.
